Since the (public) power market isn't that large anymore these days, I put my 5 powerplants into a 2000 hour expansion as well today.

I am reaching the point now where almost every building is expanding, and by the time I have set the final ones to expand, the first ones should be finished

10 more days and I'm out of an expansion I started July/Aug last year, can't wait to get my textile factories back, been hard just relying on contracts for the last few months, suppliers have been great though.

Finally out this morning after a little miscalculation although optimizing turned into a epic task 13m+ Jackets straight into production, now just another 400hr wait for them

haha, yes, it's weird, i've moved house three times and had four different jobs since I started production :O

Old topic but I can relate. I've never done that kind of expansion before. The largest ones I've done so far are 2 factories and 4 mines of 10000m2 at once. I prefer to keep some buildings in production while expanding others.
Same goes for shops (on R2). Expand one while another is retailing.

I wouldn't have the patience to wait for all my buildings to finish expansion.
