yes it does thanks but there is still something i cant understand, i want to produce e-components so i built my own:

factory for silicon
mine for quartz for silicon
well for water
power plant for power and
electronics factory for e-component

i did this because i thought if i can produce everything myself and not buy from other people then it would be cheaper in the long run but on my other account i had before i started again i bought quartz power and water off people and i could produce e-components for around 90.00
The unit price is exactly what it cost to produce. Note that it is an avergae of what u have in that quality.
Well, that's not exactly true.

If you cancel a production of Gas Q5, then you have oil Q0 at a cost of 0,00 and power at the cost of 0,00 and further use of this oil and power will have a this fake price (0,00) in account

Stop being picky. For what he wanted to know, my asnwer served the purpose! :P

You are of course correct

But the 0.00 unit proice of cancelld goods shouldnt (id hope) occur too frequently and as such would not constituate a large part of every day kapi life :D

Actually the cancellation of production has a huge impact on your production cost.

The average price is stated as for ALL the products in your warehouse. so if you cancel something this will lower the cost quite much. This new average will count as the new cost of products in the future even if you sell all but 1.

Thats why I sometimes do a yard sale just cleaning everything out.

My point being that this cancellation shud not happen often and wont form the core of your business (u really shudnt do it often as u are loosing out!!!).

It has a big impact, but not very often.

So I have 31 Cattle and various other items in my warehouse, the Cattle are Quality 1, and the Unit Price says 288.84....

Are you guys tellin me I have to sell each head for more than 288.84 in order to make a profit?

I think they're trying hard not to say that. I usually ignore that column completely because I calculate my costs manually. I can't figure how you'd get a cattle cost that high, but I'd guess it's a statistical anomaly rising from the fact that you have so few of them. Did you cancel production or something? And you should list where your factories are so we can double-check that for you.

Well my Cattle Ranch is in Mauritania. My 2 plantations are in Mauritania and another in Mali.

I used my own products, besides water bought from the market to produce and raise the cattle.

Cattle Research is at 3, and the other prducts used in making the Cattle were all at 0. (The 3 Cattle was enough to top the Quality scale and make it Quality 1.

Is that enough information, to figure it out?

Yes that is what they are saying. The price of production is right next to the product in the warehouse (just to clear this up). If you don't sell the product for more then that price then you are losing money on that product. You should check those numbers.... The meat price is in the range of making little or no money on beef produced by those cows. Cattle sells around 50

Ok, so what I'm getting is that basically, there's no way to make a profit off of raising cattle?
