Well it seems to be a match between Cocoa, Diamonds, and Computers so far.
And yes, that's just "Cocoa", the raw product from a plantation.

Yes, but computers have a lot of catching up to do, 7 votes behind.
Diamonds are catching up, so are apples.
Breads and apples have had quite a few votes recently!

I hope someone is monitoring new forum registrations
I think it's cool I only get one vote, but could see a way to skew the results in my favour...
If you haven't done so please vote for
computers more people can be involved in competition in more levels.

Personally I'm hoping for stones, diamonds, or computers.

If you said chemicals instead of diamonds, then you would have listed all the products that I wouldn't want.
The rest I could make plenty of cash off.

I agree with ergit here, a contest is worth a large amount of cash if you sell that product, so with this scheme people could easily advantage their product through multiple forum accounting which I believe is not against the rules. Does this seem fair? Are there any fail safes or plans to avoid a rigged vote? This is an honest question, so please no useless spam like answers to my perfectly reasonable question or give a useless update on the vote when anyone can simply see.

I suppose GoldenEye and pearlbay will realise when someone has made WAY too many forum accounts so I wouldn't be too worried.

well so far if you go through the names there's only people who joined the forums ages ago but never posted before.
some are new accounts from recent weeks, but I haven't seen a single account yet that was created today.

I would like to see how a stones contest would pan out, I do say it would be fun no matter what contest we end up with though.

It would be just a who-has-the-most-cash-to-spend-on-the-NPC contest.
People would completely buy out all lower offers and then just buy, buy, buy unlimited amounts off the NPC until they run out of cash.
And companies would not make major profits from sales either (like they should do if it is to be of any interest to people), instead of selling at 26.5 caps each they would just sell at 26.99 caps each, big deal...

Apparently, previous contests in other servers removed the NPC during the raw material contests

so you couldn't buy them from an unlimited supply.

That would be cool but there is very little chance of that now, more people are opting for the money spinner of cocoa. Would be nice if Goldeneye to annoy those cocoa voters who want to make a fortune, by making the quality needed a scary amount like q40
