Realm 2 HELP?

Post by Guest » 30.04.2010, 22:47

What is the most profitable product to retail in Realm2? I sell some wardrobes of my own but I want to go into retailing a (highly profitable) product and producing another.

wardrobes are always the most profitable (If you find a good supplier)
second is gas

You should also consider leather jackets and TVs.

They don't give you much fixed assets but can bring you more cash than wardrobes and gas. Unfortunately they are a bit more complex than the other products.

Well as illy said wardrobes are profitable. You want to make 1 product and do retail. That sounds normal. Lets hep you find that 1 product.

Profitable Products
Wardrobes
Gas
Leather jackets
Televisions
Cabriolets (and other automotive stuff)
pullovers
jewelry

You see there are a few products that are profitable. I only included finished products because I thought you might want to sell them in stores. Also there are other profitable finished products but nearly everyone is in these ones.

Wardrobes you already make some and the most popular product on Kapilands. All parts needed can be bought from the NPC. Good buyers and stable store prices. This is the safe bet.

Gas another very popular product on Realm2. Easy to make (gas and Oil and research) and high q can be reached easily.Profits are good and you can always find suppliers. You can make money with low qualitys but profits for high quality are dwarfed by wardrobes.

leather jackets, are as Goldeneye says, more profitable than gas and wardrobes. But textile factories are slow to expand and you will have to make several produxcts yourself (cotton, leather, textiles) if you can't find a supplier. Good product but not taht popular compared to Wardrobes and gas.

Televisions are profitable and is quite popular. It is medium difficulty to produce. There are plenty of buyers. Though you need good research and finding a plastic supplier can be hard. unless you can find suppliers you will need to make several other parts for them.

Cabriolets are probably the most difficult product to make in Kapilands and so the profits are on the same scale. Suppliers (and producers) are few and far between so you will near certainly need to make several side products for it. another draw back is that car factories take for ever to expand. But FA is good on them and you need lots of Car Dealers to sell them with, so good if you want to be part retailer.

Pullover, I personally have little experience of it (only spent about 4 days making them in total) but they are profitable. Look at azer on realm1 he is the ultimate example. It is similar to Leather Jackets but don't need leather or textiles to produce, so simpler production line.

jewelry This is a profitable product but retailing it is skill, as supply often out-reaches demand. Diamond rings are the most profitable but hardest to retail. There are numerous buyers (just have to find them). though there is supply problems with gold, silver and diamonds.

You can take other products and develop them and they could produce good profits. Now to help with retail.

Retail is simpler, you can have multiple retail buildings and doesn't really affect your company. You would be wiser to retail and multitude of products. With retailing, you need to offer good prices to your suppliers and have "big" stores. retail has quick expansion times and high FA. Yet when choosing what stores to build, you should first try and see if tehre are any suppliers. Eg. No point building 50 car Dealers when you can't find any suppliers when they are finished.

Hope this was useful.

If you are only after retailing and not producing textile products please bear in mind you probably won't end up with that many contracts, i offer to buy LJ's on realm 2 i think i've had 4/5 contracts sent this year.

I was only planning on buying like 1 or 2 stores and expanding them a lot. The main product I will sell will most likely be wardrobes, since I already retail them. I would also like to retail electronics like I do in Realm 1, the money is fair enough for me.
