Hi everyone,

to my opinion this thread was created out of curiosity, to see which players do buy Coins, and what they use them for. Everyone is allowed to play the game the way they choose, be it with or without Coins, be it by buying Coins with in-game money or by buying them with real money.

We are grateful to all our players for playing this game, be it by supporting it financially or by simply playing it, interacting actively with other players and thereby giving them a great gaming experience.

I would like to thank you therefore to keep this discussion on topic, and not reverting into a discussion about the morality or validity of playing with Coins. The Coins-system is an essential part of the game, and using it is up to every single player. The question here was simply to find out, to which purpose.

So thank you all for your comments here, and for remaining on topic.

Best regards,

pearlbay

Yeah, I just wanted to see whats up with this mysterious coin market. Obviously everyone wants them for premium, but it also seems like there are a lot of people making a few million on the side reselling. There are so many buy ads its almost a joke. As for people buying coins for money... ehh... not gonna say its wrong cause it helps fund the game. I personally didn't want to use them for profit but I do buy them for premium on occasion.

I well tell you this tho... you DO NOT need to buy coins for resale in order to have a profitable and competitive company. Sure you can spike your company up with real cash, but in less than two weeks my company will be ~15th place FA R2 without ever using a coin for anything except premium.

It's good that players sell coins, because some (like me) can't buy coins with real money :) so I buy coins with ingame money, and I still grow faster then most.

It is obvious that Realm 2 coin prices will start going sky-high soon.

They have gone up from around 30 million caps each to 45 million caps each in just one month, but the price is going up even faster now. :P

That is why I am buying up all the coins I can afford (even extra ones for reselling later on :P :P ) so premium for me will be no problem in the future. :D

Sergiu, you are right. Soon it sky-rocket with more and more desperate company s and the buyers will rise their prices and it just until we see when the sellers come back to the market place.

And the problem is, buyers are only offering 35-37 mil each coin (apart from me who is offering 40 mil per coin :D ) and sellers are only selling for 50 mil + so it is too big a gap.

Not many people will budge on either side. :P

Oh, well, at least I have 3 months of premium left. :)

But if anyone is selling coins, I buy all I can afford (usually about 20-30 coins per day) for 40 mil each. :D

Yeah. But again they will find it hard to find a seller at their prices.

Well, if you mean coins for premium, there not a problem at all. I buy/sell at same price. There is amount restrictions of course.

Price of coins has shot up in R2 again, currently at 48-50 mil each coin.

I just got 20 more coins today so I will have cheaper premium for the future. :D
