Stats and Listings

On the market screen, I think there should be a most active traded list.
So you can see which products are buying bought, how much and at what price.

Sure the stat screen tells you that for products being bought and sold in stores but no on the market, for those of us who primarily sell to the market instead of stores. So we'd know which products are moving and what to expect.

I can sell pullovers and leather jackets fast with huge profits but silver and gold just sit there with nobody buying them.

I know if sell stones and they are gone with in minutes of posting at the lowest price with profit but if I try and make sugar cane or rubber, it costs me more to make than I can sell it for and nobody will buy it for days, even if I sell it at a loss.

Perhaps a scrolling stat, for the last 24 hours, ranked in order of volume,
This many pears where put on the market and how many were bought.
Average price, quality, time on the market, etc.

Also on a different subject,
I think there should be "list by" links on the warehouse and prices and qualities screen.

On the warehouse it says "ABC", as listed in alphabetical order but perhaps allow the user to select list by amount or price. Or instead of a next link, to see what else is in your warehouse, how about

it is not possible to sell e.g. apples for 500,000 or more in the shop. You will get the message: nothing is being sold...

But it is possible to do that on the market. So each average value would be falsified such trade. Furthermore think of the contest products: at the moment there is quartz and it is not that expensive.

Furthermore I had several messages from people who sold e.g. power for 6 instead for 0.06 on the market and bought them back, as this was only done by accident.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but this is sort of along the lines of what I was thinking about myself. Tycoon, while it's true the price could be innacurate if morons like myself sell coal for 0.11 instead of 11.00 (I won't be doing THAT again anytime soon, I hope :D), but I think what would be more helpful was just knowing if there IS any demand for what I call a "component product", one that's not sold in stores, but is only used to produce products that are sold at retail.

Just a thought. I haven't done anything completely stupid yet today, and I'm hoping this doesn't change that ;)
