Secretaries!

Post by Guest » 28.10.2009, 21:47

I don't think i spelled it rite but anyways. Companies have to pay secertaries. to have orders on the market. like for every secertary you can have 1 order on the market up to the max amount. and have each secertary be more and more expensive. so no one would want to waste time putting just one product on the market. i am really not found of when people put 1 of the higher volume items. like when most people have 10k gas in the market and then there is one guy with just 1 gas in the market.

i not sure if this would really make much difference. but who knows

Check his sig- Target isn't his company name on at least 1 realm :P

Anyway nah it just won't happen- you already pay commision.

it will make premium less popular to some players...
premium gives you the ability to add more orders :)

When it says company on the left/ in your profile it tends to mean your in game compnay name ;)

CEO though it was your company name in game and you aren't allowed to copy real names and use them in game unless you have special permissions :P

You should adapt the company name in your board profile to your company name ingame.

And maybe you want to come back to the topic again. ;)
I do not see the improvement in this suggestion. Where are the advantages?

the reason was i feel a smaller company should not be able to have the same number of open orders as a big company. there should be some limit based on the size of the company, but i am not really in favor of the levels. so the company would buy secertaries. so they can have more market orders. so if a small company used the market a lot they could buy lots of secartaries but if a company did not use the market a lot it would not be worth buying another secretary. and then the companies would only post orders if they had too or wanted to instead of because they can. i know if i knew i had to use more money to post more orders then i would post less.

or make the commission. 500c +10%comission or something like that. and have the 500c increase as the company got bigger. so people will try to limit the number of orders on the market.

They are already limited to 40 for non prem and 60 for prem for the reason that we dont want people spamming the market...

I have never had more than 10 offers on the market at anyone time, and I sell solely on the market. Most people use the market every now and again, and they have a certain amount of secretaries for how they use and suddenly they want to do a mass sale of useless things in there warehouse, it would cost a fortune and take up alot of time. As for increasing the market commission in unison with level that will scare people away and make the market barren of big kapis.

Sellers will use contracts more and the market may eventually become redundant.

or new idea. instead of limiting the number of orders. just cancel the orders after a week. that would work best so if someone put an order for realy high price then it becomes canceled and no one would want to waste the comission. or somethign like that. because i really want to get rid of all that high prices steel where one steel is 686,000.00 that is bothering me :(

i am not really bohered by the spamm if it sells quickly. or for every million value the item will stay in the market one week longer. so the larger orders will stay longer in the market. or the "secertary" could be paid to make the order stay one more week in the market.

When I sell buildings on the market it usually takes a couple of weeks for a good sale.
