I make a bit of Furniture...
Wardrobes sell the best and have the best profit

Mine for Ore and Coal
Factory for steel
Plantation for Wood
and the usual Power and water
then of course comes the Joinery and the Furniture Store

Get some research centers..2 of each/one works while the other expands
start with cattle and Plant to research wood..
Then Mine for coal/ore
Then Chemical for steel
and Technical for wardrobe research
Or you can get a jump start and buy the initial research.
BUT
its not a cheap business.
If you need to buy most products to make wardrobes you will lose money.I make my Steel but buy my Wood..I need more research before I am able to do the Q that I can buy.
The object would be to buy some and make some ..to find the right combination that suits your buildings/Research/cash flow
The better prices start at about Q10 and unless you have a large store other companies pay more than you can sell for in smaller store.Once you produce a hi Q product and have a large enough store you will be able to sell in store for about 2000 more than highest offer on Forum.
I would build up the infrastructure first and accumulate some buildings and cash before venturing into wardrobes. I almost went under at 1st so I stopped producing and expanded the Joineries/Stores while working on Research.

your making a big mistake.... if your focussed on wardrobes then just make that... dont make steel and everything... it costs a lot anyways to make it.... I would suggest you should have started researching your wardrobes first to a good enough level and then buying the wood and steel(also high q)... this way you can get good prices and you can build more wardrobes(since your not using your building slots on all those other buildings)... so you still make more money :D

Do you mean that my shop is also a part of the market and compete with other players' shops? Hm, i did not think about that.
It means that if i expand my shop and research high Q, i can sell large amounts and don't use market sales?

Well for instance Mona, I used to buy my wardrobes by contract from other players for 1600+100Q, which means I payed 1600 for Q0, + 100 for every added quality.
I lowered that price, but the point is, if you have smaller shops and can only produce lower quality wardrobes, you better consider if selling them to bigger players for now wouldn't make you more money then selling it in your shop, you would have to test this out to see for yourself.

However, consider this as well: 1 wardrobe takes 20 wood (20 wood Q0 = 1500 caps from market NPC price)
And 5 steel (5 steel Q0 = 675 caps from market NPC price.)

That is already 2175 caps productioncost, (still need to ad the powercost and general cost.)
I buy Q0 wardrobes for 1600 and most players buy for around that price..
There you already can see the problem.
Like pk said, Only around Q10 you could start making profit selling to others.

You can ofcourse choose to sell that Q0 wardrobe in your shop, but you will have to set the price higher then 2300 in order to make any profit at all.

Still I advice you not to produce your own steel but buy it from the market.
If you can find a supplier that can sell you high quality steel , that would be even better.
If you can't find high quality just buy Q0.
Same goes for the wood.
BUT, Q0 steel and wood is only good if you have a good research on your wardrobes.

Steel suppliers are hard to come by all though i have a good one who supplies me with steel quality 24.
I can produce Q30 wardrobes now with that steel and my own wood (which is Q26 at the moment).

But sometimes I buy steel and wood Q0 off the market when my wood producion is not enough, and I still can make Q17 warrobes with that.
That is because my wardrobe research is Q71 and I am still researching it.

So you see, research is very important in order to make caps.

I would suggest: Only research wood and wardrobes, expand your furniturestores and joineries.
You could start selling wardrobes already in one of your shops just for testing and to get started.
(Don't forget about advertisement)

You cannot rush into this business if you want to make good profit.
It takes some time. :D

If you want, for testing prices and see the difference in selling time, I can provide you with some high quality wardrobes so you can compare.
You can sell them back to me afterwards, if you don't want to keep them.
Just message me ingame.

Forwards Unlimited B.I.G.
:D

Are there any tasks here ingame? I am confused what exactly i should do.. So many products i can produce and its hard to make choice.. If somebody say me - Mona, produce a certain number of this by that date or like this it would be much more fascinating :D.

You can take a look at the buy section and see for yourself what people need, then produce it and sell it to them.

Before I forget: first fill all your 60 buildingslots before you start to expand.
Especially with productionbuildings this is important, since 2 20m2 factories produce more then 1 40m2 factory.
Take a look here for that.

Hindight is a wonderful thing....it lets you point out the mistakes others are making because you already made them.

The Q of steel I need to produce the Q of wardrobes I want cost way way way more than I can make selling the Coal/Ore/Chemical.Therfore it cost me less to produce the wardrobes. Now if I can get the Wood Q up I wont need to buy any and then I can look at the Steel situation again..
