starting bid - 13c
increments 1c
So... another 200k to get. Who would it be? Who will win this contest?
If I manage to produce anything more until the deadline I'll sell all the surplus to the winner @13c no matter what price will be offered. (I expect it to be something like 10k maybe, but can't promise exact number - I'll tell you the prognosis one day before) - oh and this is obviously an option, so the winner may decide not to take it

He cannot withdraw his bid, now that quartz prices dropped this is not allowed to just withdraw. I do not want them either, but if i was top bidder i would pay, like i am doing over over 350k other auctions i won, cant afford to pick up another 200k

I've just read the auction rules. I asked allo a moderator for a judgement, but it seems that
1) all bilge bids seems to be invalid as to be valid bid has to have a company name (based on auction rule change)
http://www.forum.kapilands.com/viewtopic.php?t=1210
2) F-WGP last bid is valid anyway as he formaly overbid himself (the first bilge bid was also invalid) based on auction hint no 5 in the rules post
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right: the bids of Bilge are invalid, as he did not mention his company name.
BUT: if he had mentioned it, there would have been no possibility for him to withdraw his bid...
sry, I did not see this thread before. Acutal bid is at 13.

This jsut puts me in a bad predicament because after blige had outbid me i gave up and bid on another 200k quartz auction. Now im winning over 550k quartz when i had only budgeted for about 350 because i thought i was done with this auction so bidded on others. Now im the high bidder on this again so puts me in a bad spot, you have to understand. If i do win at 13 though i will buy them, as thats not fair to you either as you havent done anythign wrong, but you may not recieve your money for quite a few days after auction ends.

Rules say that Bilges last bid is not valid since he did not include his company's name into the bid.
This rule exists for sellers protection - so random forum members couldn't send bogus bids. It also prevents seller outbidding low bidders to increase the revenue.
In this case however company that failed to identify itself outbid previous valid bidder.
Should Freeway or any other bidder still want to buy the stock he could protest Bilge's bid and get it cancelled.
Since Freeway(valid high bidder) is not interested in winning this auction anymore then accepting Bilges bid as valid will not hurt any other bidders nor sellers interests.
So I personally think that Bilges bid should be accepted as valid.
If someone says that rules say differently then I am sorry for this person - rules are not needed when there is enough common sense and common sense right know says that Bilge should purchase the stock.
P.S. I am sure that Bilge's company name can be extracted from his/her previous posts.

This is the LAST time that I tell you to stop posting any company name which maybe does not exist any more... first of all you do not have the evidence for that, and second thing is: we do not want this denunciation in this forum!
btw: the company does exist, so your information is completely wrong
