special events
in order our game to be more realistic i will suggest to put some special events... like we have a contest every 2 weeks some special events will also happen.
for examble every day 10 bussiness might randomely selected to be inspected by the taxes company and have to pay 10% of their curent money..
also 10 companies might be selected their employes to go on strike for that day..
or that 10 companies due to a roberry to warehouse will loose 1 product of their warehouse...(ex all q5 bananas)
and go on ...
also more general events can happen.. like famine in France and 10% of your employes there should dye...maybe this will occur to all bussinesses..(more difficult to implement than the others but..)
I believe these will make the game a little bit more realistic and also there are easy to be implemented.. they already exist some messages like this but to all and without worthing so much... the number 10 i used is an examble... i believe the right number should be 1/1000 of the companies that exist on realm or so...
so what do you think???

Re: special events
and there is no way for a company to be an honest taxpayer and paying their employees enough for them to not go on strike?thessalonikia wrote: for examble every day 10 bussiness might randomely selected to be inspected by the taxes company and have to pay 10% of their curent money..

oh joy, losing 1 product really hurts a lot. oh and imagine thieves stealing a banana ice cream q5thessalonikia wrote: or that 10 companies due to a roberry to warehouse will loose 1 product of their warehouse...

best example so far. famine has occured in france atleast 5 times in the last 40 years hahahah
i think you should really think more about the possible events and come up with something atleast remotely plausible before you make the suggestions which will be rejectedthessalonikia wrote: so what do you think???

Unless he meant you lose all of 1 product.GREED inc. wrote:thessalonikia wrote: or that 10 companies due to a roberry to warehouse will loose 1 product of their warehouse...
Like, all your 50.000 Q5 banana icecreams.

....I'd hate it if I lost all my steel.

thessalonikia wrote:what benefit do you need....??? ok the things that will be lost or stolen will end to other 10 extremely lucky companies..... thats better now and all kapilanders will pray to still from a big big big company 1 mil wardrobes q50 and end up in their front door.......
Fine with me, you send me your login data and i'll login twice a week and send an item from your warehouse to some small company for free.
Whatever makes you happy

To avoid that they could ad a building where you can train security personel to protect your buildings.VerConMat Industries BV wrote:yeah, honestly, I think it's a horrible idea.
Millions of caps worth of items being removed just like that... not cool.
Imagine doing a contest, and having the full stock of contest items stolen, while you were in the run for a high position.
You could train them to level 127 security.
That way you would never have to be worried about thieves or damage to your products.
Ofcourse non of this will be implemented.
The security thing would avoid large companies to be hit while small companies couldn't protect themselves.sally wrote:To avoid that they could ad a building where you can train security personel to protect your buildings.VerConMat Industries BV wrote:yeah, honestly, I think it's a horrible idea.

This would be even more unfair then some company with 10M steel losing it all due to a random event.
Like V wrote, imagine you have stockpiled CP and it got stolen the last time you login...
I know i would quit the game on sight would that happen...
Ergo, this suggestion could be amongst the list of most stupid suggestions ever and it might even compete for 1st place.
Still, if thess wants it so bad, he can just send me his login data and i'll make him more happy then he can imagine

I wonder how much fun he'll have after i pushed the waste basket behind 40% of his warehouse items and cleaned up his warehouse

Hm, well if thessalonikia's suggestion would be implemented-which it won't- I would definetly want some sort of protection against that from happening like the insurance thing or security or whatever prevention.
Anyway, loosing stuff from the warehouse like all the steel as VerComat mentioned would not be cool at all.

ANY idea that could be actually implemented would need to 'bolt-on' to existing game structure on a optional basis. To talor it to this we could suggest something like an industrial espionage game between consenting firms as a kind of mini-game. It needs to be implemented to ensure that anyone who doesn
