Change qualities

Post by Guest » 16.08.2009, 15:51

Hello,

Is it possible to lower quality's. Because I have alot of different quality's and I can't use different quality's in the same project (atleast I think so).

Please help me,
Bye.

you can set a quality level your factories (or whatever building you need to change quality on), and then your produced quality won't go higher than that set level, that way you can keep it down to whatever Q you want to produce.

Here's an example, one of my wells:

If I would set that '99' to '3' while I have Q14 research, I would produce a lower quality oil than I usually do.

You'd need to do some calculating though, since setting the quality to '3' will result in you producing Q1 oil.

Note that you can only change the quality level while you are not producing anything at that moment.

Ehm.. that is not entirely true, the quality you set for oil is divided by 2:
power and oil.
So set quality 3 and you will produce quality 1.
set it to 4 and you will produce quality 2.

I mean things I bought for example I bought, alot of wood from Q3 its almost finished. Then I can't find other Q3 wood so I buy Q0. Know I want to combine the two in one "assignment"...

Start a production using wood and then stop it again - ALL goods will be downgraded then to Q0.

Should not do it with high-Q-goods, though, at least in my opinion...

What realm are you on ?
I will trade the wood for you. you send me Q3 for 70 and I will send you the same amount of Q0 for the same price.

checked that, realised it's true, and edited my post. (I figured the set quality of wells/factories/etc. would be the end product already, but it's not.)
I will have to say it as well: I agree with Sally XD

And now we will change the quality of our comments and concentrate on the intended topic (if there is still something to be added).
Thanks a lot!
