What is the best cheap substance to start creating?

Post by Guest » 30.06.2009, 19:56

I joined last week,and I decided that I need 2 factories.
However, what kind of factory should I make thats cheap and a good moneymaker for a starting player.

I would love your inputs!

Try well and power plants :D they don't require other products and its highly demanded. (Water and Power)

hi,

I started off new to this game about 4-5 weeks ago, i too had the same questions you have and with some thought i decided to do this.

Build : Power Plant
Location: Mauritania

it is cheaper to build here and units are cheaper to produce. I sell units of power @ 0.10 caps

after you sell about 2mil power you should have about 200K caps. Hopefully you will still have a good balance.

2: produce a well.
A well was the second thing i produce as water is yet another required resource, from this though i started making APPLES! yep! apples, i had 10K seeds which u get to start you off, if you have your fruit plantation gain a 2nd worker you can produce 1K apples in 24 hrs.
I started selling apples & power daily.

3: produce either a 2nd well or a mine.
Go for a well if you like selling off water, or you can move onto a mine and produce one of the many products available from here. Quartz is needed for E-components, Gold needed for watches etc. or just stones, required for all buildings that may help reduce requirements to build more stuff or just sell it off.

Its important to note starting off is going to be slow, but you will get into the swing of it soon enough. Also early on, build do not expand. It is more profitable to build a second facility (if that facility will assist you to create more of the item you're selling, no point making a 2nd facility of something you wont use).

This is what i consider a resonable set up. Advertising what you are producing on the forums is recommended, i personally stay away from the market like its infected with a plague due to its 10% tax also keep an eye for prices, prices flucuate constantly and stay at a reasonable price, dont undercut the entire market otherwise you will be hunted down.

That's an interesting point of view, glad to get a notion of time to spend before earning enough to build new factories or other stuffs!
Thanks!

Yeah!! Beware!!

But he is right.
Don't undercut the market if you want to to have good business partners in the (near) future. :D

And nice advice niroshido, simpel and clear.
I love to see new players helping other new players. :D

the three best industries for new players are Power, Water, and Stones. (PowerPlant, Well, Mine.)

I entered the game doing those 3, and I'm doing quite well nowadays :P

Realm 2 I entered like that Realm 1 I didn't

The difference:

Realm 1 took me 2months playing time to reach manager level.

Realm 2 took me 1.5months playing time to reach manager level.]

Now on relam 1 although I am better set up in a more fun exciting industry and fast pulling away from my R2 account the thing is that it was SOOO much harder. Realm 2 is much more relaxed for me and I'm building up status poitns which cost a bomb... Yet I'm still going up at a reasonable speed.

So yes make the above stated things till you reach manager level or so- then if you like it or like 1 or 2 of them go with them. If you wanna diversify then go for it! Slowly though, You should have the money by then!

I find the 'basic' materials boring, hence why I only make 2nd or higher items (+gold). Sure they are great for profit but I would aim for moving out of the raw material market by the time all you plants are at 100m2. Thats just me though, some like VerConMat do just fine but the drugery of not changing anything over the few months would kill me. At least wood can be made into a better Q

I agree. :P
Even though my main industry is Stones, I did want something researchable so the game wouldn't get too boring for me.
so I also produce Oil (which is researchable), as a second industry on my company.

I started up the Oil industry right before I became a manager, and my first buildings had already hit 100m

Well I can help you set up in TVs/Jewlerly, the profits are quite good and the chains long enough to make things mildly interesting :D
You do have to invest a fair bit though...
Give me a yell if your intested

I'm sticking with Stones(main) and Oil(second) on R2, Otherwise I'd have to change my company name. :P
VerConMat stands for Verodin Construction Materials.

I'm making my own gas on R1 for now, at least until it becomes a bigger company (Manager) as well, I'm only a Small Businessman on R1.

Profit is most important for a good start.

But i advise to grow to 1000 for a rebuild.
1000m PP's are so much better to be sold then 100m ones.

Also, don't go 100% power.
Just build 40-50 of them and up to 5 plantations/mines for raw building material production.

Check this link to find out how fast you can grow with power plants.

I don't find them boring. My Realm 2 company is 100% mines producing only stone, except for this contest. I love it. You don't have to worry about setting up a bunch of buildings. Yet there are always plenty of things going on: People asking for stone, changes in daily contracts, sending out 20+ daily contracts, etc. Then through in the Kindergarden I have and the fun doubles. (Hundreds of contracts recieved daily and plenty of people asking questions.)

What more can you ask for? It is just more fun than my Realm 1 company that produces Pullovers and Wool.
