Oh good god! Please Stop you two :P

Look at it this way kestral
40k ad points costs on average 1m (+200-300k for the new building)
20m2 extra space costs on average 300k

To spell it out this means you can treble or quadruble your sales speed by expanding rather than buying a new store and new add points
Ill leave the decision up to you... :D

Indeed, expanding 1 shop beats building a 2nd..
On the long run however you'll need more shops anyway.

But in short his question was: is it worth building in another location in order to be able to sell more cuz my shops won't compete with eachother.
I would say, not really no.
There are to many shops to actually make that one shop really make a difference.

Tho there are more exceptions ofcourse.
Shops in yellow/green might be so rare that they can actually be usefull.
However, price in green usually is so terrible it hardly makes it worth your while building in green...

Allright, that was a short answer to the question...imagine what happens when someone goes into detail about this......

Well he is certainly getting there, I have been on the forum for 1 year and 7 months, he has not even been here for 5 months and he has almost posted half of my number of posts already.
Give or take a hundred.

I'm just realising that you post like 5 times a day nowadays :P

So you must have said very little during your first year on the forum. :P

You can experiment with a few shops, but at your size they won't be very profitable. Several types of shops can at least make a small profit, though. I guarantee you can make a profit from furniture shops, because I'm going to have an excess of wardrobes for many months and I'll sell them for 1400 less than they fetch in Germany shops. Right now, I'm selling Q14 for 2800, which sells a full shelf in less than 3 days at 4200.

For God's sake, put your shops in Germany.

4th biggest poster here? :P

back on topic: What Question does he still need answering...

ad points are the only thing that matter in shops, not the Q of the ads you use- they just give you a greater amount of ad points :P

Quality lets you sell things faster

As for the shop size thing. A full rack in a 20m2 store will sell out in the same time a full rack will sell out in a 100m2 store and a full rack in a 32,467m2 store with the same price quality ad points etc etc
