cotton is growing because textiles are needed more
and it is easier to have higher q cotton than high q wood
but i wont switch
it is a good business too. and better if you have textiles factories too
at 4000m 3 plantations can suport 4 textiles factories to make textiles
and you can buy some high q cattle from farmboy and make leather
then leather jackets
i dont think anybody is buying cotton
they buy textile, am i right?
Well, all batches below 70 have been sold.
Its a small market, but at 70 i'm sure profit beats low Q wood.
I just started producing some extra cotton, but i indeed have some textile factories
Switching might be useless for many, especially those who produce high Q wood.
But wood price prolly won't rise much due to the NPC at 75.
Cotton can still go up due to no NPC and textiles being needed for LeatherJackets as you wrote.
Long term i'm not sure wood can beat cotton due to that.
I did math on the cotton vs. wood profit some time ago, but i don't remember the exact results.
I think it was something like wood had to be +10 each to be a better profit then cotton even with lower production, but maybe i should do the math again during the next few weeks when i'm bored again
