Auction is actually over. The winning bid is 1,205,000,000 and I'm just waiting for the contract to be delivered for signature.

I thought that when the BIN bit has been offered that the auction would stop and the contract would be shipped off?

They keep changing the rules around here, which I guess is why I generally avoid these bloody auctions.

It used to be that BIN was only valid if there hadn't been any bids yet. Now, the rules seem to say that as long as the bids don't exceed 85% of the BIN price, then the BIN is still available.

Guess that means the seller only gets 500M.

Yeah.

They should make a bit more straight forward to avoid any future confusion.

Thanks for the clarification on the BIN rules!
