How about if we can change our entire gaming colors that we personally see on kapi-regnum.... just like we can our shop windows? (just like the shop window goodies.... it can be Premium only)
Hi Fierz,
this is already possible via the GFX-Pack. What you need to do is change the images yourself, and save them under the same name, once you have downloaded the GFX-pack, then enter the link in your Profile.
Be careful with using GFX-packs other players provide, however. We cannot help you if they cause problems with your account!
Best regards,

I can't use the graphics pack. It takes away all my images and replaces my graphics with white screens. It looks terrible and I can barely navigate because it turns all my graphics into text lists and jumbled messes. Is there any way I can talk with a programmer of Upjers to see how I can alter it (colors) so that it's usable??
Hi again, Fierz,
installing the GFX-pack via FF is a thing of great complexity, I know... I found a description on the Molehill Empire Forum if you'd like to have a look there:
http://board.molehillempire.com/viewtop ... f=3&t=2827
Of course the description itself refer to MHE, but the method should be the same on Regnum.
Even then, changing the layout via the GFX-pack is not very easy - unless you know what you are doing. Sorry if my first response might have made you think it was...
Best regards,

Ok, I'll post what is in my browser.
For reference: Firefox ver.3.6.13 Windows XP SP3
In my profile
(Obviously, your path will look a bit different but I did have to put the "file:///" in front of the string manually. For some reason, I was only getting 2 of the 3 "/" needed.)
User.js
There are some games in there that you don't need obviously but 'http://www.kapi-regnum.com' is needed for here. Plus, I added extra carriage returns between entries to make it a bit more readable but they aren't needed in the file.
The problems I ran into
I tried it myself using basically the same direction that link Pearlbay linked to said except that it was for Kapilands instead of Molehill Empire. They didn't work for me either. It was the way that 'Pardus' PBBG instructions set theirs up that showed me the way. Their instruction were more generic in that you just gave permission for generic 'localfilelink.sites' and then adding the sites you wanted to being able to access things locally.
Anyway, I really hopes this solves your problem because I can sympathize with you if you have a slow connection like I do.

Code: Select all
user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "localfilelinks");
user_pref("capability.policy.localfilelinks.sites", "http://www.pardus.at http://pardus.at http://forum.pardus.at http://chat.pardus.at http://orion.pardus.at http://artemis.pardus.at http://pegasus.pardus.at http://www.w2.kapilands.com http://www.kapi-regnum.com" );
user_pref("capability.policy.localfilelinks.checkloaduri.enabled", "allAccess");
The problems I ran into
- Saving the 'User.js' file. It is a text file but notepad (which I used to edit it) initially saved it as 'User.txt.js' or 'User.js.txt', I can't remember which. Had to manually rename it to just 'User.js'. Other text editors might do something similar.
- user_pref("capability.policy.localfilelinks.sites" <sites go here>) line. I initially had two of them. One for the games I already had gfx pack for and then another for the kapi and regnum games. The 'user_pref("capability.policy.localfilelinks.sites' lines override each other if you use more than 1. The last one wins so you have to include all the sites that permission to access things locally in the same entry.

Your hard drive isn't the C:/ drive?
No matter I guess (but it is confusing though and I guess if you made sure a flashdrive or a CD was in the drive, you could technically not have to store the gfx-pack on the hard drive at all).
Just substitute whatever drive is holding the gfx-pack then put that into your profile/account.
Just remember when you input the location manually, to use all forward slashes '/' rather than backslashes '\' and end the whole thing with a single, final '/'. I never had any luck letting the game do it automatically so I saved it the trouble and did it myself.
