We have recently struck a partnership between our guild and another guild that shares our values and vision. while currently we have enabled our members to commonly use our externally hosted forum, some way to officially align guilds together would be awesome.
Perhaps the game could extend guild trading benefits to trades between the members of partner guilds and allow the members or guildmasters to post messages on the official partner's board. We believe such partnerships to be quite natural as say.. in ancient times, the mason's guild might have extended hospitality to visiting members of carpenter guilds and vice versa. Or perhaps the painters guild could be aligned to the drapery makers guild.
I think such alliances will be a very good new feature that could shake up the game a little.
