How do you increase quality of your goods? Is there any method to it, or is it just a matter of upgrading your farm/cattle farm/etc?

Up top, there is a tab called knowledge.

In here are lodges, that you build same as any other building from the city hall.

Once built, and upgraded or whatever, each lodge is capable of researching the quality of a set of products.

Look there and in help, you'll find your answers.

Cheers

apart of the lodges you also need to set your production buildings "research level",so they will actualy use the aquired knowledge.

Of course, if you are asking this question, you should be making Q0 goods until you have done enough research to really up your take in your market stalls. You will make far more money than trying to sell Q1,2,3...etc.

Nobody will buy q1,q2,q3 is what Stoney is trying to say. It's only when you get to the REALLY high q levels AND produce a LOT of them that they become profitable to sell to others. You will be selling most of your q items in your own markets. Recommendation for you is to upgrade your markets to at LEAST 1k sqm before you use them. And advertisements should be at 40k or higher. :)
