Heres an idea for the next version.

How about we can have NPC govts voted in and out, once in awhile (every two or three months). We can have two options for the govt

Party A will raise demand by 10%

Party B will increase Production(quantity) by 10%

Now there are one issue that I feel need to dicussed, should we have any influence on who gets elected (or let it be random)?

Please feel free to comment, and add suggestions to what the parties effect could be.

Thanks Puzzman

Party A promises to raise demand by 10%

Party B promises to increase Production(quantity) by 10%

Once elected, either party has no effect.
Fixed. :D

Now that sounds realistic.

It might be interesting.

Yes very but we should have it 1 gouverment per country and u may only vote for ur gouverment if u have citentship and u have to pay money for that. be a bit more complicated but adds a bit of fun to it.

I realy like the ideal, but to be realistic the chances this gets put in this kapi are slim to none. sry to be the bringer of bad news :(

i think that when you vote for one person or the other, they make either the tax of putting things on market higher or lower, or make it so one guy has a program that if you build in say... Congo, then you will be able to produce +5%, or +25% more goods in your plantations.

that way you have it more of do you want cheaper taxes? or be able to produce more product, and each of the 2 could have their ups and downs.

kinda like the real world with bush allowing abortions, some like it some don't.

I like the idea of getting feedback from players. Maybe you could use it like the events we already have (warehouse flooding, etc.). The more decisions the player makes, the more feedback the mods get. This would explode the amount of work required to code, but it would go well with a truly global version.

Imagine if the Government in France or China added a 5% production bonus while subtracting 5% from something else.

The player could receive a msg containing the ballot paper, and after they reply with their vote the system could send them a results msg. :)

Thanks for your support.

I was thinking that maybe there could be NPC voting system( so a random result) with us being able to 'buy' some votes and so try to influence the final result.

I was thinking of having a plus and minus to each party, but that would complicate things and when the parties switch we get a plus and minus anyway. e.g if the system starts with party A in power, then when Party b gets in power we will gain B's bonuses but lose out on A's.

Even if this exact idea isnt desiarable due to politic issues, we could expand it, so some countries have elections, others kings or other one 'party' systems.

or even adapt the voting system to the game so it suits all countries, such as the kapi-king, or president of kapi-world, or something like that.

the bonuses and drawbacks of party A and party B would even it out, it would come down to party A helping the smaller companies such as people with plantations, but making it so party B gives things such as wells a better production rate per hour.

it would be appropriate for each player to only vote once so larger companies don't overthrow voting.

it would be very nice idea, but i think we shoud have only 1 gouvermant in hole kapi,if there will be like 9 govermants, many people will lost and it will be chaos.
