you can make gas and sell it
you have factories for gas
wells for oil and powerplant for power
or make wood or stones
depends on you

Alrighty Then :D Deep Breath...
Factories > Gas
Plantations > Wood
Mines > Stones (OR gold)
Cattle Breeding > Get rid of them! Cows if you must but they are poor profit
Textiles Factories > Textiles (duh :P) as well as leather and Leather Jackets
E-Factories > E comps
Bev Factories > Lose them, not worth you time
Joinery > Wardrobes
Toy Fact > Q0 Toys (You have to have a buyer or the costs will destroy you)
Jewels Factory > Watches/Necklaces (Or sell it to me :D)
Chem Plant > Perfumes (not worth it unless you own the stores far as I know

Try and sell off items that dont chain or just get you tiny profits.
For Example use your mines to make gold then watches. Both items are good profit and sell well.
Trying to move too quickly and diversiy rapidly is a sure fire way to blow some seirous cash but as you seem to be coin driven it should be no problem to you.

Me personaly, im a great fan of TV and Jewerly so if you want to pick a good industry those are 2 of the best options. You are set up to some degree with both so lose what you cant make profitable within a few days and consolidate what is profitable whilst your at it.
If you need help and are on R2 give me a call im always happy to help

Mines - Gold requires a high quality to break even. Unless you have Q40+(Realm 2) or Q60+ (Realm 1) gold research don't waste your time or money on it. Stone will bring in more profit.

Cattle-Breeding - There are a number of people buying Q0 wool for 20c. For little research that is the best money maker in CBs. Chickens and Cattle can make money but they both require high research to beat out wool.

Jewelery Factory - Diamond Rings, Golden Watches and Necklaces can make a profit with low qualities and make a good profit at higher qualities.

My advice is you pick one main product and focus on it along with a sub product or two. (Don't produce more than three products as buying off the market will save you valuable building slots.)

Jewelery is a good industry but gold and silver are hard to come by. Why? Unless somebody has a high research the power and water required to make gold/silver are worth more than the finished product itself.

With your set up I would suggest you stick with wood and stone. Both bring in good profits with low capital required which will allow you to expand faster.

I do have to disagree there, although the profit might be avrage I can hammer out a gold bar for a little over 105c. Now at Q0 the going price is 155ea. (In R2) so im not seeing the problem. Now I know its much faster to produce stones but they around break even if I could be bothered doing the maths like I did ages back. I kicked off from Q20 I got for 3m ages back and I havent looked back since and im now punching out 2.5m a week and its one of my main profit areas. I do enjoy a privlaged arangemnet where I get 175+Q for mine however

You can produce 3 times as much stone as gold

Gold = 50c profit
Stones = 18c profit

So as you can see not a lot in it really

He is a realm 1 player not realm 2. That has to be taken into consideration.

Realm 1 for gold
850 Power at 0.27 = 229.5
90 Water at 0.27 = 24.3
Production cost = 9
Total cost = 262.8

Gold sells for 260
Profit = -2.8 (He would lost money if he didn't have research.)

Realm 2 for gold
850 Power at 0.11 = 93.5
90 Water at 0.16 = 14.4
Production cost = 9
Total cost = 116.9

Gold sells for 155
Profit = 38.1

Compare that to stone.

Realm 1
5 Power at 0.27 = 1.35
1 Water at 0.27 = 0.27
Production cost = 1.8
Total cost = 3.42

Stone sells for 24
Profit = 20.58

Realm 2
5 Power at 0.11 = 0.55
1 Water at 0.16 = 0.16
Production cost = 1.8
Total cost = 2.51

Stone sells for 20
Profit = 17.49

Now take into account the fact you can produce 3.3 stone for every 1 gold.

Realm 1 for a Mine
Gold Profit = -2.8
Stone Profit = 67.91

Realm 2 for a Mine
Gold Profit = 38.1
Stone Profit = 57.71

On Realm 1 he would need to produce Q27 gold to make more money than stone. (If he can get +3Q for his gold.)
On Realm 2 he would need to produce Q8 gold to make more money than stone. (If he can get +3Q for his gold.)

On Realm 1 he would need to produce Q44 gold to make more money than stone. (If he can get +2Q for his gold.)
On Realm 2 he would need to produce Q12 gold to make more money than stone. (If he can get +2Q for his gold.)

On Realm 1 he would need to produce Q111 gold to make more money than stone. (If he can get +1Q for his gold.) You cannot make Q111 gold in the game at the moment.
On Realm 2 he would need to produce Q31 gold to make more money than stone. (If he can get +1Q for his gold.)

See here I was championing a lost cause and not one of you told me!
I only consider R2 sorry people, so take my advice with a pinch of salt in future.
And no Azer I will NOT just come out and say I was wrong, ill act like a little kid and change the subject!...So how about that weather?

I still think power prices are insane in R1, its making so many good industries unviable. Its still profitable BTW to make gold in R1 just not to sell it in raw form. As you know you can sell necklaces at 12k each no sweat and the total cost to you is 8k at most, 4k the difference. It takes a bit of time but if your coin fed then you can BUY a 30k store and make as much as you like :P

I worked this out a couple of weeks ago and if I remember correctly you had to be buying your power at no more than .07c and water at no more than .16c for gold to overtake stone.

Waters already there on R2 and powers not far off. Jump you Q up up 5 and thats all you need to beat it.

Now the fun part. (This is for Realm 1 as that is where his account is.)

Diamond Rings
39 Silver at 210 = 8190
1 Diamond at 80 = 80
200 Power at 0.27 = 54
Production cost = 150
Total Cost = 8474

Selling price = 15,000 + 100Q (The price I buy for.)
Profit = 6526

Golden Necklaces
30 Gold at 260 = 7800
500 Power at 0.27 = 135
Production cost = 30
Total Cost = 7965

Selling price = 10,000 + 100Q (The price I buy for.)
Profit = 2035

Golden Watches
40 Gold at 260 = 10400
0.1 Glass at 90 = 9
500 Power at 0.27 = 135
Production cost = 45
Total Cost = 10589

Selling price = 10,000 + 100Q (The price I buy for.)
Profit = -589

For a Jewelery Factory (0.79 Diamond Rings are produced for every 1 Golden Necklace or Watch)
Diamond Ring Profit: 5155.54
Golden Necklace Profit: 2035
Golden Watch Profit: -589

As you can see, Diamond Rings are the best thing to produce in Jewelery Factories. (Don't worry about the low demand. There are plenty of people who stock pile to work the store at just the right times.)

Thanks for all the input guys!
As for prices on power and water i produce that myself. Will that affect the profit of sstone over gold much? Also i just wondered( directed at Horizon Holdings) where the thought im coin driven came from:L?

Thanks again
