Optimize building production

Somewhere I saw about optimization of building production. I don't remember exactly, but when a building reaches an appointed size a player can increase its production without increasing its size.
Could someone give me more information about that?

After building 4000m you can optimise by pushing an option in the expand part of the building.

So at 4000-8000-12000-16000-20000-24000-28000-32000 size you get the option.

I saw someone do a est on it before and at merchant level a 4000m2 PP in green gained 12mil per day on its production, so yeah make sure you do it

Actually I though it was 400m and I was looking for this button. But it turns to be 400 workers not 400m

i have a 4000 plantation and cant optimize it
i click in expansion and no optimizartion proces
and optimization is at 0%

That means it has either been optimized already or you do not have 400 workers. (You can optimize every 400 workers. It doesn't matter if your building is 12000m2; you need the employees to have the option to optimize.)

Indeed it is workers, but i expected people to have their buildings fully staffed ofcourse

I bet warrior has bought an already optimized plantation, can't imagine he has one without staff

If its at 0 that means it already been optimized it goes to 50% at 6000m2 and 75% at 7000m2 etc
