restricing quality level - how ?

hi all

i know this should be easy, but i just can't get my head round it !

for the current contest (Banana Ice Q2) you need Milk, Banana's and Banana Ice to equal 6 (6/3=2).

if i have products totalling 9, how do i restrict the ice factory to produce Q2 products ?

First of all, we need to know hat quality you have researched... and what quality milk and banana's you use... After that i can give you exact details....

if you are using q3 milk and q3 bananas just put in your ice factory the quality at 0... that means that you have 3+3+0=6 .... 6/3= 2

so the quality level "selector" in the factory will just affect the quality of the factory product ?

yes... that is correct... for example producing q5 ice cream...

milk q3
bananas q3

you need to hit 15 then to get q5... so that means you have to set the 'quality level selector' at 9...

3+3+9=15
15/3=5....

it's just that easy...
