How do you know how much something is worth in the shop?

Wrong again, he would not neccesarily have made a profit at all.

You might very well be right. But as I wanted to go into jewelry from the begining and had the oppertunity to get some good research(for my level) for a fair price thats what I plumped for. I'm happy to continue plodding along, and who knows with everybody going into watches and rings my necklaces may become worth more.
