Why would the programmers change all the scripts on the whole of kapilands (changing contest price to 0.02 - disabling the NPC for power and then changing it all back after the contest) when there is a whole myriad of products they can choose from where they don't have to change a thing!
Power is used in practically every single product. I for one, would not even play the game for those 2 weeks, and I'm sure many other people would do the same - this would be bad for business for the creators.
So this isn't going to happen, also it's a rather poor suggestion too. Not well thought through.

I am one of R2's biggest power producers and even I must agree that having a contest with power as the contest product would be a terrible idea for multiple reasons. Like hebawom said if they used power as the contest product so many businesses would more or less shut down or pay rediculously high prices for power. Also let's not forget that, like hebawom
