Changing System

Post by Guest » 21.11.2007, 16:50

I play this game short, and i've noticed, that noone wants to buy for example cabriolets, motorbikes and similar things.

Why? For me it's because noone needs it, and those, who produce useless things can only sell it on Sales in their own shops.

I've an idea, which can change it.

My proposition is to change the system. If someone produce's Kapi Cola and none of players want to buy it and he has no time to sell it on Sale, he can sell it to Computer's Market. More product Computer's Market has, the price of it is lower. More: players can buy things in Computer's Market not for player's price, but for computer's price.
The other thing is to make useless things useable (or something like this, i don't speak english good). If someone has his office in Germany and want to build something in Mauritania, he can:
pay for transport to "Sign a contract for building in Mauritania"
if he has a car/cabriolet/motorbike he can move for free to Mauritania to sign a contract for building. To make more expensive things more useable, it (on example of cars) would be that:
Car: 10 times of moving to destinations
Motorbike: 15 times of moving to destinations
Cabriolets: 20 times of moving to destinations

And with other products:
A player want to build a Car Saloon in Germany. Then he has to have: Stones, Steel and Wood in currently wares and: some tables, wardrobes, glass and other products.

I expect some more propositions and comments for my idea. But please, if you want to critic it, write why do you thing my idea is wrong.

Another proposition:
It would be reeeaaal nice, if players can for example use wood to create power. I mean in real life if someone make's fire, he can make an energy from it. I mean using products to create other products.

I should be able to sell my Pullovers in a Car shop? Sence when do you head over to the car dealer for a new set of jeans or for some candy?

No your post is fine, General Motors. (Although we need to talk about your name.)

If I understand you, you want to have products be used by companies in more than just production and selling. Your example was using cars for transportation.

Unfortunately, that would be a total re-write of the game, and every bit would have to be done separately. Right now, the game has a hundred different items - but in technical terms, they all work the same way. Take inputs, charge costs, give outputs.

To then use what you make, like using cars for transportation - well you might as well make a new game and call it Rumblerace.
