Guilds

Post by Guest » 20.02.2007, 10:29

Following the Idea of Astrologer, I will explain the case:
Why don't you put a system of guilds in the game where we can associate various companys, to sell products to each other?
And when we receive a better offer, we can get out of the guild and go to another one to supply that guild.
What do you think?

PS: The idea wasn't mine, was of Astrologer. (thanks) :)

You can build trade institutions or syndicates... not a problem.

But you have to take care for your prices... as cheating is an issue here ;-)

We don't add such a system because it generates no benefits.

Even without a guild system you can sell products to other companies... I don't see the point of you suggestion.

with a guild option it is easier to keep a track of the internal companies plus with a guild system could come a guild market!! which will be very profitable for the guild members because the price would be fixed

I think Kapilands is not a game for guilds... Furthermore it won't help the community to have guilds with their own markets...

I don't sugest guilds with their own markets, I sugest groups of production and comunitys of people who can contact and make contracts just with the people of that comunity.
It will help on the contact of the people and in a structure of game.
If you like or not it is my opinion.

Yes, that was just my personal opinion...

But I still do not see the difference to the trade institutions or the syndicates?

its just more of a formalized thing within the game i suppose. adding tags to which corporation ur company is a part of, would create a strong dynamic of cooperation ... but it would also need limits to how many people can be in one at a time so that some arent full of people who are just kicking around.
