Is it me or is there a price war going on?

Hello,

When I started the game the normal prices of power was 0.10 caps per kWh. However, now the lowest it's going out for is 0.07 per kWh. Although I may be one of the reasons this happened I want to stop it dead in its tracks because it's also bad for my business. I suggest setting up the United Power Syndicate and start to slowly bring the price of power back to 0.09 and keep it there. It would be good for my as well as your business.

Greetings, Primus Ferrarius - CEO Vinii National

And we demand some profits. Plus, suppose this war would go on for a while, the power in Africa can be manufactured for .01 caps thus sold for .02. Europ e has .03-->.04 caps. We'd effectively be putting beginners and people relying greatly on power trade out of business.

Yeah, I tihnk I might have started that price trade. I started to sel at .08 after I saw so many prices at .09, so I did what I did for a quick profit. Next think you know, the next day, people are selling it at .08, funny how I still make good quick profits.

It's neither you nor there is a price war going on.

It's called competition. If there is a large quantity available but nobody buys the price will go down until the stuff is bought and / or some competitors leave the market b/c it does not pay off.

It's also the other way round:
If the demand exceeds the supply the prices will rise and there will be more competitors. Compare e. g. steel: In the beginning everybody got some steel to start with. Today most of the free steel is exhausted, the price is increasing.

dude the lowest price was now 0.05 by someone and he closed his thread luckily cause he was out of power but i think he will come back after gettin more power and then again he will sell for 0.05 and we will be losing customers

and yes mamphil is right now there are many people selling power and less customers. THIS GAME ISNT LIKE RUNESCAPE. there arent so many people playing as in runescape there are. So very less customers are there to buy power and many people sellin! So the prices keep decreasing. Maybe soon the prices reach 0.03 and then 0.02 but i hope that does not happen :!:
