Yes profitable but not by much.
Rather disappointed in my stores performance too.
I can make 100K by selling 1,000 pullovers on the market
But only 3K selling milk in my stores, not counting cost.
If you count cost I'd make 50K with pullovers on the market
And 1K with milk at my store.
I want to build more stores and have only to find the max at car dealership to be 8, which is insanely low, so if i buy 8 tires for 150 and sell them for 200, I'm only profiting 400 in 6 hours, hardly worth the effort.
And cars, well forget about it, the computer said it would take 72 hours to sell 1 car making a grand total of 2K.
Likewise I have built two drugstores, the max is 400 before upgrades but to buy goods is around 20 and hard to sell for more than 25,
So only 2k in 6 hours.
I would like to build more stores but I guess the question, besides the obvious of gas, which ones are most profitable and at which price?
Yes I have built a media research center and planning on a TV station in Africa to help with the selling time but that will take a while.
I've been selling milk for 3 when at home cause it is faster,
fruit and biscuits for 5 or 6 while I'm at work,
Gas for 17, lotion for 25-30 and tires for 200.
I guess the question is what is a realistic price and time for the other stores so I don't have to waist time building low profit stores.
I wanna build one of each in my home region to save on shipping cost,
but realistically, if you buy from the market, for toys,
electronics and jewelry,
Furniture store, Textile store and Beverages store.
how much time does it take, what are your common market prices, how much profit have you made and what is your store max when first built?
Obviously it is faster to buy from the market than it would be to wait on your factories, so I don't really make anything myself that I sell, cept for fruit and gas.
Which, is the best, over all, do you think, from your experience,
Let's just say I'm taking a poll.
Just to avoid the 72 hour waiting time for 1 product on any any other buildings.
Oh sure I'm planning on building them all eventually anyway, why not?
Just curious which I should build first?
AH, OK, to answer one of my own questions,
Knolls was kind enough to post a link to that kaptools thing, so I'll repost it here for those of you who are too lazy like me to look it up yourself.
Building capacity when first built.
Gas station 1.000
Supermarket 800
Beverage store 520
Textile store 400
Chemist's shop 400
Jeweler 160
Toy store 80
Electronic store 64
Furniture store 40
Car dealer 8
Plus 1/2 for every 10 upgrades.
So, I guess I'll look up the rest myself too.
(stat price - market price * capacity=profit)
not counting time.
GAS (22.28 - 13.00 * 1000) = 9,280
Milk (3.19 - 2.00 * 800) = 952
Pears (6.77 - 3.15 * 800) = 2,896
Beer (14.78 - 8.00 * 520) = 3,525
Leather jackets (454.18 - 400 * 400) = 21,672 ***WOW***
Pullovers (164.14 - 100 * 400) = 25,656 ***WOW Again***
Lotions (43.92 - 27.00 * 400) = 6,768
Wait, I sell my lotions for 25 - 30 not 43 and it takes like 7 hours,
while if I sell milk for 3 it only takes 2 or 3 hours.
Hmmmm,
OK, well nevermind,
At best this post has been a shameless self promotion for Kapilands growing textile industry.

Re: Stores
Well, you have to take care of Quality, for example in gas the average price in store could be 22.28 at a Quality of 6, but i dondbsuma wrote: GAS (22.28 - 13.00 * 1000) = 9,280

Cygnus is right. Quality is what makes the difference.....
And I don't understand why are you throwing your money away with building your own TV industry. It is cheaper to buy it than to produce it yourself. Better spend that money for expanding your stores. Current market price is around 50kapis per point. Production cost in green is 270 + 1000power. So we count that one ad cost you 270+60=330. When one ad point can be purchased on the market for 50 then you need to produce at least ads Q7 to save some money with it. That means research Q14. YOur top research at the moment is Q7 so I really don't know why are you doing it....
And I can give you one example finally:
Televisions Q7 can be bought for 1150. If you sell it in 20m2 E-Shop for 1500 it takes about 1 hour to sell one TV. So your daily profit from it is 8400. If you make your store 40m2 your profit w
