Can you (or anyone...) make something, that, for example, pays a company when the player buys coins?
Example:
Kapilands banner on a big gaming forum (really: big)
Make a deal that if the players buy coins via their site, the forum gets X%
so..
with 10%, 10% of all the coins money you gain, goes to them. It costs a decent sum, but its no constant costs. No result? No money paid.
Doesnt sounds so hard, but is this possible? If so, why not make it and give me a reward for being so smart?
Cheerio
Currently you can use the advertising method here on the forum - you post and ad and send our blog-team a link, then receive coins for it:

An option as you describe it is not available yet, but sounds interesting for sure.
Both by registrations and activity. Though frankly I am no programmer, and wouldn't be able to tell you exactly how this is determined. The capability of the server itself is also always a determining factor; some servers can take more users than others.kingrewt wrote: Well going back to pearlbay's earlier point on the fact taht number of registrations can not be used as an indicator to tell activity. So then how do you know when a Server is full?
NYK, did you see those adds on freeforums.org?
But don't pin me down on any details, please.

cheers,

In case of urgent problems or questions, please use our support form!
Then what are you? You just manage the kapi forums?pearlbay wrote:Though frankly I am no programmer, and wouldn't be able to tell you exactly how this is determined.

Or do you own a share of kapi also?
If you need help in programing or something,

she's part of upjer's support team, its her job, she doesn't own kapi and not sharesof kapi (the one who owns the upjers, owns all upjers games, simple.)
So its not that worthwhile arguing with her or anyone. They can atleast help our ideas get to the support team...ILIYYILI wrote:thomisback wrote:Then what are you? @ ILIYYILI: When I had to read the latest answers I feel myself agreeing with you.
But maybe this helps:
thomisback, talking with pearlbay or me is not "useless".
We give you all the necessary details that can be given to players, we are here to support you when having any problems (board and game-things).
So starting to split hairs and put all our words on a golden balance (in the meaning of taking it very literally) does not bring yourself forward. It only hinders you from understanding the relevant things. Maybe you want to stop that.
Or should I start pointing out that talking to you is not useful, too, as you cannot help me to improve my personal situation? Well, it's a bit weird thinking like that, isn't it?
It is all about the progressive exchange (Ha, that sounds good, doesn't it?
) We are trying to answer your questions and bring things to your attention that you haven't been aware of before. I don't see why this should be useless.
About the company upjers itself:
There are several teams of programmers, designers, translators, supporters working on different projects. Most of them have got their very clear tasks and are responsible only for one or two projects. Kapilands is supported by such a team, too. So there's no need to worry about it.
And a final word from my side: Please try to relax a bit.

let me try to put this in a way you put it, like the way you wrote it, very long and something meaning full. I do apologize for saying talking u guys is worthless....I think i was [censored] around. Got alot to learn, one of the learnings is this. I do respect you guys, i have been moderators and admin alot of times. I will stop "spliting hairs" from now...
I just created this thread to see because, 100000's of post in Suggestion and Proposals, yet none affected in this game or realm 2. What was going on? Well, i guess now i got a few answers. If you feel it is important to close the thread, go ahead...U got no one stoping you.
Take care
Cya
To be honest though Realm 2 only came out a few months after Realm 1 giving them sod all time to improve it. While I still don't fully understand why updates can't be implemented on realm 1 and 2 as we play... even shutting the game down for a day wouldn't be too bad.I just created this thread to see because, 100000's of post in Suggestion and Proposals, yet none affected in this game or realm 2. What was going on?
But I guess we're all just waiting for realm 3. And while upjers I'm sure is a semi-profitable business like said in previous posts it is not "super rich from all the coin buyers".
Consider staff wages, server costs, maintainence costs etc. I'm sure they pull in a decent bit. But not enough to get a team of programmers and developers for Kapilands.
So while i do want updates to happen and realm 3... can't we have some of the updates on the current realms instead of launching new ones if the new realm would cost too much. Then it isn't really that much of a negative gamble!
