power, water, and stones cannot be upgraded at all, ever.
it makes these products very good for new players as anyone can jump in and compete at the same level as older players (except in quantity)

You have either to research the end product or the single raw materials going into this end product. (Seeds: need water, for seeds q1 you have to research seeds 2)

karlinex > its a math problem ... if something needs Power and Water to be made ... you need to research that item 3 times to get a Q1 product.
(Water Q0 + Power Q0 + Item Research 3) / 3 = 1

(you divide by the number of products that go into making the item)
