Playing at school

Post by Guest » 12.12.2007, 18:57

I am wondering if I am allowed to trade with my friends while we are at school? The rules are a little fuzzy to me on this subject.

Grateful for answers.

Do me a favor if you would please:

Both of you go to this website and check the big red number up top (the external IP address).

If it's the same for both of you, best you don't. If you have two different numbers, then it's fine.

Well, we're in the same building and mostly in the same room, I'm pretty certain we all have the same IP. But we are only on Kapilands for perhaps two hours at most. Can't you check all our IPs? We should all have one different IP, the one from home, but also all the same IP from school.

Thanks for the reply.

This is a problem with my friends at work as well. There are about a dozen of us who play, but since we all go through the same proxy server, we can trade with each other. Bummer.

But the bright side is that there are a lot of other people out there! Several of us have business contacts with the same companies, so it's still a sense of playing the game together.

I think that you and your friends should choose other ways to trade. Don't you have internet in houses? Do it, when you're home. Because many people may not now that you're playing in school, and ban you.

So we would be allowed to trade when at different IPs, but not when we're in school?

Yeah, i think you're right. See, when you trade with your friends in school noone can see that you really do that. You can also make 3 accounts and earn 2 000 000 caps. Just produce more materials in longer time, then you won't have to play at school.
