building market

Post by Guest » 25.09.2007, 17:15

hi there,

i placed a few buildings in the building market,
but i now found out it cant be canceled or changed????
you dont pay any fee to place it there, so why cant you cancel the selling and get back your building instead of having to buy it back????
i needed room for new buildings and since i havent sold them in 2-3 days time i was considering of lowering price or even sell to system, but if i have to buy it back i loose double money and if i let them on market i cant build any new ones.....

How are you losing money by buying back your own building? There are no fees on the building market, and if you buy your own building you are paying yourself for the building, no change to your cash balance.

If you are the seller and buyer of the same building :
You buy that building at 10.000. You get 10.000 from selling that building.
You buy that building at 100.000. You get 100.000 from selling that building.
You buy that building at 1.000.000. You get 1.000.000 from selling that building.
You buy that building at 10.000.000. You get 10.000.000 from selling that building.
You buy that building at 100.000.000. You get 100.000.000 from selling that building.
You don't have to pay market taxes to sell your building :)
Are you loosing something here? :)

yes !

if you for example put it on the market for 100.000 and you buy it, you will first lose 100.000 and then win 100.000 > but it's at the same time, so you wont notice any difference in your cash ;)
