Supply and Demand

yes and no,
it does on the market when you buy and sell to/from other players, cept for NPC.
In your stores however it.... well.... sort of does.
don't even bother building a store in Africa or Saudi, if you got one there remove it and rebuild it in Europe.
The prices are always better in Europe regardless of supply and demand.
Seems that things sell better in Turkey however, maybe because of supply and demand.
So if building a store I'd go with that, only wish I knew that before I built a majority of my stores in France, which seems to be the hardest market in Europe, maybe again because of supply and demand.
Mostly Americans and people from other English speaking nations are playing this game, in this language version, so for some reason, culturally they all seem to relate to France easier than Turkey, which has had little cultural influence on the West, so most people are building in France, making the market tougher, but much better than Africa or Saudi.
But if you are looking to capitalize on others cultural bias, I'd go with turkey. It seems to take me an hour less time to sell the same goods there than in France.
Example:
(from my stores board)
Q1 Apples in France: 6:54:43
Q1 Apples in Turkey: 5:43:02
France and Germany seem about the same for most things
TV's in France: 18:36:41 @ $1080
TV's in Germany: 18:31:03 @ $1100
you might get a little better price in Germany currently.
so yes, maybe, a little, in Europe, sort of, in a way.
if that answers your question.
