Question about speeding up production

Post by Guest » 05.02.2007, 20:35

What are the ways to speed up production? I'm pretty new here so the only thing I know is to expand because as you expand you can hire more employees. Does research speed up production?

No, only expand will speed up production,

but my tip for new Players : first buy new buildings befor you expand this.

Because for example ... 2x20m

please don't forget the ressources you need for upgrading your buildings. to upgrade by 20 sqm you will need 20 times the ressources you need for buying a new building! So it is, in the beginning, *slightly* cheaper to buy a new one instead of upgrading an existing one.

BTW: The outcome per sqm follows a degression rule, so 3 20sqm buildings will have a better outcome than an 60 sqm building and so on

from all what you ppl say, isnt it best just keep on building new buildings? of coz as you have more the time needed to wait is longer, but its cheaper long run isn't?

just wondering

for cutting production time its better to have 3 buildings with the stock 20 m2 because in the time it takes to upgrade a buildings you could have been producing products.

but if your building is in a green area, then upgrade all you want. its cheaper for each square meter, plus its easier having 1 building.

but if your looking to demolish your building in the near future, build seperate ones instead of wasting supplies on upgrading.

it all depends on what kind of building you are going to use.

yes, i think it took me around a day or 2 to get it to 50 sqm in just one go. so while it was being expanded, i did nothing in kapiland aside from browsing.

i do agree as well. it is quite easier to keep track of things if i only have one building. i guess i'll try to invest into more of the same buildings maybe an extra 1 or 2, so while 1 expands, I have a place to produce and not waste that much time.

Thats the best thing todo, later on you can always sell your other building if you just want to have one main expanded one to produce with.

(I've restarted about 7 times) hoping i don't have to again lol.

XD i was thinking of restarting but then I had asked before and a mod answered me that coins do disappear, so if I purchased those coins through paypal, I can get them back by messaging the mods. I thought of it as too much hassle so I just chose to stick with what I have. :)

I hope in the future we can get other features that can help us boost our productivity speed. XD

I was really thinking that maybe we could get production rate increases as we expand more. Because in doing so, users would be given an incentive to expand their current buildings rather than just build 5 or more of the same building.

Also since we are expanding can't we link that to the learning curve? XD The more you expand, it could be that your employees get more training and adapt to the production process so it speeds their output. Because if the production speed of the basic building as well as the expanded building is equal or roughly the same, players would opt more to just make the a lot of the same buildings than expand. Expanded buildings from what I understand right now just offer a larger output because of the number of employees it has hired has increased, not because the company expanded its buildings. In that case the productivity speed/output seems to rely just on the number of employees you have....or am i wrong?
