Pricing Your Items?

Post by Guest » 21.06.2007, 19:37

I just made 10 lvl0 diamonds. How do I know what to price them for? What about other items i make? How can I find a good price for them?

It is good to check this forum and see for what prices others are buying these items. You can also read through faxes and find some prices there or check market and see for how much are these products sold there.

There is no universal price used all the time. Prices are changing, some products change their price daily....

Don't produce diamonds. They are only used for making diamond rings and its production is very very low. Only few thousands a day I think. For each ring you need only one diamond but much more silver. So demand for diamonds is very low and forces companies that produced them to sell way below production cost to get rid of them.

Be wise and use your mine for something else. Stones sells well and produces fast. The same with coal and iron....

That's the game, finding the opportunities and the best deals.

The market currently has lots of diamonds available, with many at the range of 49-50. (Go to Market in game, then on the left pick Non-Food. Select Diamonds, then sort by price.)

So sell on the market for about 50, which will net you about 45. Or see if you can find a direct buyer who will pay more than 45.

While I don't like to tell people directly what business they should or shouldn't be in, you'll do much better making and selling stones out of that mine than you will with diamonds.

Constructing and expanding your buildings. So every player in the game needs them whatever business they are in.

To tell you the truth, find an item with a very high demand and a low supply, and try to undersell your competition.

To tell you the truth, find an item with a very high demand and a low supply, and try to undersell your competition.
...and out produce them by expanding using the profits. Ownage !!! High quality rules the markets. If you make a relatively small amount of high quality items a day you wont go anywhere.

If you can supply most of the demand in any market it becomes easier to get your quality up. Once your Quality and Quantity are the best you can set the price for that market and everyone else will be on their knees.

Someone already owns the wardrobe market, but there is still a chance for that to change.

Cheap Steel, your own Stone and a little bit of Wood. The only other thing you need is Caps ($).

If you don't profit by underselling you wont go anywhere. You could call this game ProfitLand but that just sounds corny
