hi i discovered kapilands from an advertisement link on a game site

does this game cost any real money, or is it absolutely free?

can i establish a sports business particularly hockey or anything sports related in kapiland?

Yes it is free. But you can support the game by buing coins for real money. There is some use for these coins further but you don't have to do so.

I think there is no product related to hockey in game. But you should check it out and maybe you will find some products that will catch your atention:)

If you will indulge me, from a purely hypothetical point I am curious what you would like to see in terms of a "sports business."

There are factories that make "toys" and stores that sell them. You could be in the toy business and then explain it as being sporting goods, but that's using a very loose interpretation. Only in your company name, sales banner, and occasional conversations would they come to life as sports equipment, otherwise they're just toys.

Or a step up would be a new product line (not likely, just discussing) where you have Sporting Goods factories and stores, and they make specifically Running Cleats, Basketballs, Hockey sticks, and Football Helmets. This would definitely be a nod to sports and everyone would know you are in the Sporting Goods industry.

Would that be what you're looking for? Or are you really looking for a "sports management" type of business - running a professional team or something? While I confess that this is conceptually the best way to dive into "sports," it's basically a service industry and I'm really not sure how that could be included in any sort of fun way in a market game.

how much do these coins cost in united states dollar?

knolls, you're warm with your sports store idea
can i invest in sporting good equipment?

maybe even be the gm of a fictional kapiland professional sports team or a professional athlete for one of those teams

maybe open up a sports agent firm and manage kapiland athletes (please pass these suggestions on to the development team).

you can't have a real-world without these things and they will attract a different crowd - sports are a huge part of the economy

what is the best i can do with the current version of kapilands?

You get 10 coins for 1 Euro, which is currently about $1.33 American.

Coins can be used to

Use 20 coins to upgrade from a standard account to a VIP account. The standard account is limited to 60 buildings, while a Preumium one lets you have 100. Also with the upgraded account you can build Admin buildings to save time, edit your showcase with company information, and use more warehouse and market slots.
Purchase Status Symbols. Purely for score and not for productive value, these can be displayed in your showcase and add to your total score.
Send a Fax. For 5 coins you can send out a fax - a short statement that goes to every company in-game and appears on thier office log-in page. Good for finding customers and suppliers.
Sell them. It's not a bad way to get a lot of in-game cash for a boost.

Again 1 Euro = $1.33 = 10 coins, so about $8.00 will get you 60 coins. They are currently selling for 60,000

thanks for the intel knolls - this game sounds too limited - and from rags to riches my dream can't come true - you should delete that from the home page because it's untrue

i mean can i even start a record label?

specifically what industries can i venture?

is their a master list somewhere with all the possible businesses?

Kapilands is a great game with a lot of possibilites! You can produce about 100 different products, build about 30 different buildings, try to reach place 1 in about 10 different stats...
So where is this game too much limited?:D

It is a peaceful business simulation where you can create your own company. So where if not here can you get from rags to riches?

it just isn't for me - i'm not gonna play something that doesn't appeal to me - knolls gave me my answer - the closest i'll get to my dream is starting a toy shop and pretending i'm selling sporting good equipment - that's not my definition of fun

can i start a mafia at least?
