Post by Guest » 01.02.2007, 07:31

i have the completed research to make Q1 oil.

when i went to put in "setup for quality" i tested it and made 2 oil set at Q1

but it made Q0 oil...

i don't understand the whole calculating thing.

i want to make 100 Q1 oil, what do i put in at the setup for quality screen?

how do i calculate it? i tried making sense of what it said but it sounds like bull spit. please help! the future of quality oil depends on joO0o lol

quality = (power + quality oil) / 2

if you have researched oil on quality 1:

quality = (power + q1) / 2 = 0.5 -> q0

Which level have you already researched?

When level 2 is researched you can produce oil q1

quality = (power + q2) / 2 = (0+2) / 2 = 1

Hope I could help you. :wink:

Don't cancel.
You need q2 research to produce oil q1.
q 0.5 doesn't exist. And the system rounds down your figures where possbile. So don't give him a chance... :twisted:

after i have researched lvl2, i edited the quality and it shows 1 but then when i produced oil it still says q0. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to produce a q1 the next time? In confusion i started researching lvl3 and its 3 hours away to complete.

You have to enter "2" in the field for the quality. Then the single qualities will be added together: 2 (oil) + 0 (water) = 2 /2 (number of items in the end-product) = 1

So the field for quality does not mean the quality of the end product.
