Contracts
Moderator: moderators
a contract in general is like a direct offer to a partner.
you have got three possibilities to sell your products:
1. shops
2. the market - here you have got to pay a fee of 10% but everybody can buy your products
3. contract - here you have not to pay the 10% fee, so it could be better several times and just one guy can buy the products
an open contract is a contract which your partner did not yet sign... so you are still waiting for your money

I would not send contracts to another company without this company knowing that you will send a contract: I know lots of players who won't deal with somebody in future who sends contracts without negotiating them.Dwarf wrote:no. just send him a contract
you can send him a message too, but it is not really neccessary
@Wasbak: if you need water, you cannot send a contract. A contract is just the possibility to sell goods to another player directly, without putting them onto the market. You do not have to pay the commission, but you have to pay forwarding charges if the other company is in another country than yours. If it is in the same country, there are no fees...
Go into your warehouse, enter the number of units you want to sell, then scroll and enter the price and the company's name in the fields shown on the right side of the page.
Yes, you are right. There are forwarding charges. But only if you sell to a company which is not in the same country than yours. If it is, you do not have any fee.
The percentage of the forwarding charges depends on the product. Shipping wood for example is more expensive than shipping seeds. (I do not have the final figures for that, however) Maybe somebody else has?

If i was the first to reply id say do the tutorial then read the faq/help section THEN post with suggestions.. its kinda lazy to ask like that

But luckily for you thee are lots of helpful people here

I understand what your saying, but its easier just to tell people when they ask and be friendly then make the game a rude atmosphere.
If the mods, admins, and other players weren't as helpful to new players as these, their would probibly be alot more abandond companies.
I've quit games because the admin was a dilweed when i ask for help lol, but not before giving them a piece of my mind =p XD *giggle-snort*
P.S. i laugh when i see "dill weed" seasoning in the store rofl.
