sales capacity

I built a car dealership only to find that I can only sell 8 tires at a time, compared to a grocery store where you can sell 800 apples at a time.

Is there anyway to find out ahead of time what the sales max is before I build?

Also is there anyway to find out the production cost before I build?
I've waisted so much only on building and selling factories that were useless cause there production rates were far too high, so it would be helpful to know beforehand what that cost would be so I don't waist any more money.

Yes, I understand that it is cheaper in Africa, but how much cheaper?
And for what?
