sure, the prices per country are calculated based on the demand and supply, just like in real life.

so it's the price i can get when selling the product in the store?

Guest

Post by Guest » 27.01.2007, 09:17

it depends on where your store is situaded, that's the average price you can ask.
you can ask more = wait longer
you can ask less= you get your mmoney sooner.

but there are prices also for water and silver, but i can't sell those in a store

oh, there, that's the average price you've payed to produce them :)
you can sell your products to a much higher price, but then the demand will decrease :)
I thought your new questions were about the "stats" menu :p

ok, but then it doesn't make sence either, how could i make water for 1.23 or silver for 200 ?

it's the cost of the building that makes the price this high.
I'm dutch so I don't realy know how to explain this in english...
it are the (costs of your buildings+the cost of all your products)/how many products you've produced.

aha, so it will get lower as i make more of that product, right?

but then, how is it possible, that i make potatoes for 0.1 but cotton for 22 in the same building?

Guest

Post by Guest » 27.01.2007, 09:35

cotton = 0.9/kg
potatoes = 0.14/kg
you will probably have made more potatoes then since the average price per piece is devided over all products (I think)

ah, so the price of the building is counted in the price for making the cotton and also in the price of making the potatoes? like if i made only cotton or only potatoes in the bulding?

no, the price for making it is different per region (farming, industrial etc.
the building costs are devided over the

this average price per unit is calculated with the following parameters:

production price per unit + avg unit price per raw material * raw material need, for every raw material

eg

water produced in oman
0.02 (production price water) + 0.03 (price power in warehouse) * 0.1 (units power needed) = 0.02 + 0.003 = 0.02 (rounded price)

if you have water for 1.23 in your warehouse you bought power for an extremly high price:
1.23 = 0.02 + 1.21
1.21 * 10 = 12.10

So you must have bought energy for about 12 caps :shock: as the production prices are fixed for each production plant and area (see ingame help for more information)
