research buildings, which do what?

which research building research which things?

i want to get a building so i can research gas (and chemicals needed for it) up to the same level as my oil what research buildings do what?

In the game, if you click Help on top of the screen, then look left you'll see "Products" selections for all the goods. Choose the appropriate one and it will tell you for any product what inputs are required, what retail store sells it, and what facility you need for research.

For both Gas and Chemicals you need a "Chemical RC".

you can also click on Help and the Buildings link ... then choose a research building, and you will see what each research. much easier than looking at products individually
