Can I sell more than one Item in a Grocery or any other selling building?

2)
I've read about people buying technology or buildings from other people ...

.......where can I find this option?
......or I've misunderstand?

1. You can only sell one sort of items at a time in all shops

2. All people can buy buildings and technologies, but you have to reach manager level to sell them.

Yeah as Golden Water said, you can vary your products in most stores but you can't sell more than one at a time.
