Employees And Building Space

Post by Guest » 10.08.2011, 12:20

I couldn't find an answer to this elsewhere unfortunately, so had to be asked. Maybe, once answered, it can be added to the FAQ/archive to make it easier for others?

The question is, how much space does each employee require? I currently have 2 employees, and my building size is 20 metres, by upgrading it another 10 metres, will I then be able to hire 1 more employee? Is this how it works?

Yes, that is correct - 10m2 of space equals one new employee.

Example - 20m2 - 2 emps, 30m2 - 3 emps,......1000m2 - 100 emps, 20000m2 - 2000 emps.

The answer Rash gave you is perfect...

just allow me to expand on the optimization of the buildings for you...

you can optimize a production building every 4000m2... this means that building will become more efficient and use less time to manufacture the goods than before... so don't forget to optimize at following intervals... 4000m2..8000m2...12 000m2...16 000m2 ....20 000m2 and so on...

happy expanding..:)

So, as soon as I hit 4000 metres of space in my building, I will get an option to optimize production, and I should click this? Does it cost anything to optimize? Also, by recuiting more employees, does this make the time that it takes to produce stuff faster?

yes... when you reach 4000m2 you will get option to click on "optimize" inside the area where you expand the building... and optimizing does not cost anything as far as I know... never even bothered to look..:)

and to the second question ...also yes... your production does not increase when you expand the building... only after you hire new employees to fill the extra space will your production increase...

hope this helps...
