Pricing and store fill-up
I am in need of reminding, so please:
1. what is the pricing formula for tables in Turkey and France?
2. what is the pricing formula for leather jackets in Turkey and Germany?
3. would you recommend 24-hour sales cycles or 36-hour (for both products)? I used to do 24h for both, but now, it seems, the market has changed a bit (especially Turkey), so just wondering...
And finally, how do I buy some coins using my telephone or SMS? Take into consideration, I am from Croatia!
Thanks!

Use those as firewood.Rash wrote:1. what is the pricing formula for tables in Turkey and France?
I'd say that seriously depends on volume, and how fast you are willing to sell the stuff.Rash wrote:2. what is the pricing formula for leather jackets in Turkey and Germany?
With the current cost of the textile, the fair cost of jackets is going to be above the price cap anyway. So perhaps 216 hour cycle is not too far off. Anything shorter than 96 hours is ridiculous anyway.Rash wrote:3. would you recommend 24-hour sales cycles or 36-hour (for both products)? P.S. Ever wondered how apocalipse looks like?
products vary greatly as to the selling times in store to maximize price and selling time ratio..
but on tables (rather make other wood products) I would recommend a selling time between 72-96 hours...depending on your cash flow needs...
on leather jackets I would recommend 72 hours selling time...
I cannot give you a price on these items but if you adjust the price untill you get these hours you will start to get a "feel" for the markets in different countries.
if you were selling gas on the other hand then 48 hours is your time goal...
these ties are really just a starter guide... like moon said if you have low stock of something it might be better to make your selling times allot higher to maximize your earnings...

In my opinion, selling leather jackets below 168 hours ruins the stats-prices.
The stats-price of leather jackets is very fragile - it can be at 300 Caps in one week and at 2400 the next one.
Personally I prefer cycles of about 200 hours.
You can gain a huge profit margin with leather jackets (that's a branche of trade that gives you much cash!) but you should sell recognisable over stats-price and take a longer time-period into consideration.
And you should keep in mind that you have to get enough leather jackets... I guess that is the hardest part of this business.

I'm upto 700/800hr cycles with jackets, but Goldeneye is right the hardest part is keeping up with production i can roughly produce enough to fill a max store a day on R2 but there's other things like leather/textiles to produce which slow me down a little, i have dropped the amount of stores i fill now and have around 53 factories supplying 20 stores that are emptied roughly once a month sometimes longer if my factories are in expansion, 72hrs is nowhere near the right retail time for jackets though.
I also try to fill and empty them all either at once or split into two groups of 10 so i don't keep the stats to high for everybody else so they are only high supply for a couple of days a month, as when supply goes over roughly 10% of demand sales times have quite a big increase for some reason.

Thanks guys, those are all valid facts, but also, you have to take into consideration another fact and that is that my stores are not so big (2000m2) at the moment, since I have not been active for quite a while.
To be honest, I have my own production chain set up, all the way from cotton for textiles and corn for cattle and have the matching quality to produce higher quality end product.
The only thing that I used to buy via contract were high-q seeds. But, since I have used up my premium space, I am really thinking about skipping corn and cotton and buying those for my chain so I can focus more on my textile factories.
Nevertheless, I still need high-q seeds for my wood, so if you know someone who can provide me with those, it would be greatly appreciated.
