The general rule is that the higher the quality of the product, the less time it takes to sell or you can sell it for a higher price in a store.

There is no set quality that all customers will be content with it changes daily dependant on the stats page for the area and product you are retailing, take for instance R1 and cabrios now if you had your Q17, in France average quality is 5.4 so if you retail over that Q you will have content customers, however in Germany the average quality is 42.96 so your content customers would be lower, of course stats can drop or raise so there's no definate or set way to say >Q17=quicker.
