premium account - currency problem

I try to pay my premium account this week.

I went to the bank and ask how to pay in sterling pounds. they said that to pay in such a backward currency, I have to open a special account. my regular account is good enough to pay in euro in any country, but not uncivilized land with exotic money.

there is no way I'll open a new account with extra fees for ONE operation a year.

so, I have two questions :

- why not use Euro ? (a purely rhetorical question, to be frank).
- how can I pay in euro my premium account?

Strange that, in the uncivilised land I live in we can pay with euro's no problem, infact I do pay in euro's for my premium.

I don't understand this. Why can't you pay in whatever currency you use in your country? Open up a paypal account and send funds from your bank account or get a credit card. Also, the pound is definitely not a backwards currency lol. The Euro has ruined small economies in Europe. Nothing wrong with not converting to the Euro.

your misundertsanding of my problem warned me that there was something odds with my account/PC/internet/whatever.

for an unknow reason, Kapilands recognize me as living in GB. I suppose there are some bad configs somewhere. since I had a rogue Virus, this kind of thing shows from time to time.

now I can pay in euro. all is well...
