Questions from a newbie :)

Hi
I ve been playin kapilands for 2 weeks i need some help from experienced players :)

1) What is the use of research? I recently reached 5 quality in gas. I would like to know how it affects to npc customers. I mean the higher quality product has, the higher price the product will have k ? If this is the case, is there a formula between the customer demand and quality level ?

2) What is optimize? How it affects the stuff?

3) Advertises lowers the time the product sold in the stores am i right? Is there a formula for it? How many advertisements is good enough for a product, lets say for 1k gas?

4) How can i increase the content rate of the customers? Higher content level helps to inrease the price of the product or time? Again is there a formula for it?

5) I dont understand supply and demand stats totally. For example in France animal foods demand 46.153.828 and supply is 1. If I produce and sell animal food in france, will there be a change in supply? And how this affects the price of the good and time the good is being sold?

I guess thats it for now. I m really curious about my questions hope they ll get answered :) Thx in advance.

I can answer that real quick.

Get full advertisements (40K) in a store or don't bother with it.

Easy way to figure it is when it costs less to buy the 40K adverts and put them into a store as it does to double the size of your store(NOTE: to get 40K Adverts you don't have to by 40,000 of them. Adverts (Q0)=1 Ad point, Adverts (Q1)=2 Ad points, Adverts (Q2)=3 Ad points, ect, ect....Your target is to get 40K Ad points into the store, not 40K Advertisements)

Both things double the rate at which you sell if you leave the product (you are selling) price the same.

So if doubling the size of your store costs:XXX.XX and buying enough adverts to fill your store up to 40K is<XXX.XX, go with the adverts, otherwise, double the size of your store.

I don't know the exact formula, but I believe that you don't start seeing any REAL sales increases using Advertisements until you are almost full in any event. Something like the last 25% of the Ad points put into the store, count for 75% of the sales increase. I'm certain that isn't the exact numbers but I'm pretty sure that hits the concept the formula uses on the head though.
