Production times

what effects production time other then where the bulding is built quality and employees and what is being produced .... because i went to produce a product in an amount that normally would take 5 seconds more then 1 day and today for some reason its going to take 27 hours instead of just 24 (was trying to produce electricity) was the time standard changed for electricity?

your production time will be longer for each level up (e.g. from Merchant to retailer)

its just that i was relying on the income from the powerplants to support some of my other activities and now that cuts back on my production
