Stone Vs gold/Diamonds / oil vs water

Post by Guest » 05.06.2010, 12:54

I have some mines as a side business, and the rest being a massive load of water wells, the question to be posed is the following

A) If i need stones in large quantity, is it better to produce my own, OR to produce either Gold/Diamonds...etc (any other mine products) and use that cash to buy stones.

Question 2

i have Q23 in oil,

At what point does it become better to produce oil over mass production of water.

Thanks

Examlple

Gold price to make:100
Diamond price to make:100
Stone price to make:5

Gold sells for: 120
Diamond sells for: 150
Stones sells for: 27

Units made per 10H
Gold: 1000
Diamonds: 600
Stones: 1500

Gold=20profitx1.000=20.000 caps.
Diamonds=50profitx600=30.000 caps.
Stones=22profitx1500=33.000 caps.

The item at your calcs is at the top, make that and if its not stones, sell and buy stones.

The same at oil. OR..ever thought about making gas yourself aswell and sell gas instead of oil?

Dimonds are in a low demand because the market if full with them, and there is no demmend for dimond rings.

produce you better produce gold (if you have a desent quality, as q0 makes less profit then stones)

samething about water, unless you want to invest into a nice research, stick with the basic product.
