When Supply > Demand ...

Post by Guest » 01.04.2007, 22:11

By the looks of things I can just wait a few weeks and watch gas stations 8) , but I was wondering what happens when the supply for a region gets up to the level of the demand.

Do the NPCs stop buying completely, or do they just slow down a lot? Does it afect q0 more than higher qualities, or are all qualities affected at the same rate?

It doesn't completely stop, but the products are being sold much much slower. And this effects all qualities, although meeting the average quality will be a little faster than being miles away from it.

Well I do know that demand goes up as more buildings are built in the region. More buildings = more employees = more familes = more customers.

Supply is based on how many players are selling that product in the region.

I don't know the exact calulations, but thats the basics on it. So I suppose if supply rises to meet demand, and then people start building something else, demand will rise to be back above supply again. That's my understanding anyway.
